Manager Zhou Successfully reaching the summit of Mount Everest

Keep climbing, fulfill the dream of scaling Mount Everest

Mount Everest (the "Peak") is the main peak of the Himalayas and the highest mountain in the world. For this ascent of Everest, Mr. Zhou departed from Nepal.

On April 17, arrived in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

Here you'll find an abundance of Hindu and Buddhist temples, as well as stupas, all brimming with a rich cultural atmosphere.

On April 19, a helicopter headed to Lukla.

The mountain route flying to Lukla is one of the most scenic in the world, and it also serves as the starting point for the EBC trek.

EBC trekking to Everest Base Camp, covering a total distance of about 70 kilometers.

April 27: Robuche Training Practice

Departing at 2 a.m., we maintained a steady 70° ascent all the way, reaching the 6,100-meter summit after five grueling hours—our toughest training hike before heading to base camp.

Arrived at Everest's South Col Base Camp on April 28.

The base camp sits at an altitude of 5,300 meters, where everyone is conducting non-stop adaptive training exercises, ensuring they’re fully prepared and patiently awaiting the optimal window period.

Departed at 2:00 AM on May 17 and successfully arrived at Camp C2.

Successfully navigating the Khumbu Glacier, known as the "Terrifying Glacier," we reached Camp C2 at an altitude of 6,400 meters.

Arrived at Camp C3 on May 19, at an altitude of 7,100 meters.

On May 20, after a grueling 9-hour climb up the Lhotse Face, we reached Camp C4 at an altitude of 7,950 meters.

Climbed to the summit of Mount Everest on May 21, reaching an altitude of 8,848.86 meters.

At 8:20 p.m., General Zhou joined the summit team as they launched their final push from Camp C4.

After 11 hours of non-stop climbing, at 7:30 a.m. on May 21, 2024, Zhou successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest, standing at an elevation of 8,848.86 meters. He unfurled a banner featuring the Sino-Galvo Technology logo, proudly placing the Sino-Galvo galvanometer mirror at the very top of the world.
